I'm not entirely sure where my love for found materials began, but they continue to fascinate me. Once considered avant-garde, the use of found materials and objects has become an integral part of contemporary practice. For me, these materials carry not only their own history and energy but also the memory of the place they came from - the walls, streets, and cities that shaped them. That makes the creative process both exhilarating and unpredictable. There's a kind of alchemy in transforming the ordinary into art, when fragments of billboards and weathered posters are reimagined as something entirely new. These collages are created from these urban remains: materials that hold both the texture of time and the spirit of the city itself.
