If books are tools for recording and transmitting ideas, information, stories and images, so to are the materials that make them up. These artworks are created from found and discarded books and the fragments that result when deconstructed by the hands of an artist. Then, they are reinterpreted and new stories are reinvented and presented in a unique contemporary way, yet embedded with an innate sense of timelessness.
